Where to I even begin. My time exploring London was like no other. It was scary, exciting, memorable, magnificent, beautiful, but most importantly, it was rewarding. I learned many life lessons on this trip that I could use for the rest of my life. The life, the people here, the food, the culture, London is what made this life time experience more magical than I could have ever imagined. At first, I was very nervous. This was my first time to ever be abroad. The big city, and the new atmosphere was not what I was used to. I didn't know what to think, or do the minute my feet hit the ground in London. But, it was a new adventure and one I was ecstatic to take. The first two weeks were the hardest. I was very homesick and it was hard to adjust to the life in London. Everything from grocery shopping, to walking on the street is different. It was fun to learn the new ways but it was hard to remember the old ways once I returned to the States. Among the many different things like getting to make our own pottery, or getting to see one of the world's most beautiful beaches, shaped me into the new me. London's spark is something I will never forget. There is so much to do here, so much to see, even sitting on my bed in my tiny dorm room made me appreciate my time here in London. There is a spark. Throughout my traveling and studies, seeing London has made my priorities and my desires a bit different. It's made me want to see the world more and experience more cultures. With new friends, new culture shocks, new experiences, new memories, this experience traveling, studying, has made me into the person I've always wanted to be. London has that effect on you, although it rains most of the time, it still knows what to give you. I will cherish every second I've spent in London for the rest of my life. But hopefully, I will get to make new memories very soon.
Cheers for now, London. <3
